Favorite Annie
So I am sure this question has been posted a million times by now, but I was wondering who everybodys favorite annie is?
My favorite annie is Allison Smith. I loved that huge voice in that tiny frame! I think Amanda Balon is probably one of the best actresses to play annie.

My favorite is Marissa O'Donnell for sure! She acted really well and is an amazing singer, I love her voice. But I also like Shelley Bruce and Joanna Pacitti.

Joanna Pacitti had an AMAZING voice! Amanda Balon's comedica timeing and energy rival that of an oscar winning actor. Allison Smith is my chosen favorite because of her amazing voice, and I think she really looked like an orphan annie. I also think Alicia Morton really portrayed annie well. I was not however a big Brittney Kissinger fan...probably b/c Joanna seemed so amazing to me.

I always thought Alicia Morton was too sweet. And she didn't have the big singing voice I think is a must for Annie.

Alicia is not too sweet for Annie and she does have a big voice. Aileen Quinn sings too low without confidence. Alicia sings with a lot of power. Sorry about my opinion!

Are you speaking about Aileen's Tomorrow? In the behind the scenes clips and interviews, Aileen said she was coached to sing is low and sweet instead of belting. Director's perogative.

I dont feel like I have the ability to say wich Annie was the best, nor do probably most of us since we havent seen them all. Of the ones that I have seen (Marissa, Amanda, and Madison) I thought Marissa was the best by a long shot. I can't really comment on any of the 80s era Annies as I never saw them

The first Annie I ever saw was onscreen with Aileen Quinn, so she is by far my favorite ... because of first impressions. But I love all the Annies I have seen since (I just wish I had had the chance to see the earlier ones as well). I hope my little girl grows to love the story characters and music as much as I did.
