Last time I think each girl got a couple of verses to sing by herself and they would go in the audition room in groups.

We are booking our flights for the audition. Does anyone know how long the audition will last on Saturday & if there would be anything on Sunday that would require us to leave later in the day?

I
if you make though Satruday you might be ask back on Sunday .. so you might want stay an till Monday..
so I tthink i I think you might want to come there on Friday and come back on Monday .. I have never Audition for this play but have fun and tell me how you did thanks Becky

In the past, they have made cuts throughout the day on saturday, and the girls who made it through all of that were asked back on sunday. So it is certainly possible that your daughter may be needed at a callback on sunday. (on the other hand, she could get cut early saturday and already be done before saturday night). So yes, there could be something sunday that would prevent you from flying out then. Good luck!

THAT'S NOT FAIR!! Why can't anyone be too tall to audition?!?!?!?!?!? I WANT TO BE ANNIE! How did Andrea McArdle play Annie? She was too tall also.

They were under the 4'10" at the beginning but were older and looked more mature.

For the 2007-2008 tour, the girls playing the orphans could be no taller than 4'11. It was only in the tour this past year (2008-2009) that the girls were not allowed to be taller then 4'10.

Actually Andrea was 4' 7" during the middle of her run as Annie. She may have been closer to 4'10 when she did it in London for 2months in May.June 1978. All the first girls were shorter than 4'10'. They were just older and looked more mature.
