I have gone to Rockford twice to audition in the last 2 months (for two different theatre companies - one was doing Annie and the other could get me an Equity card). Yes that IS me in the pictures, I am the one WITH the little girl on my shoulder. I have done Annie 3 times and am cast in my fourth production. To me, it is like the Stanley Cup: no sooner did I do it the first time, that all I could think about was doing it again. I guess I am just the fatherly type, huh? The show that I am in now is like a dream. I talked the director into putting that optional song (Why Should I Change a Thing) back into the show, and also at my request, we are turning it into a duet between Warbucks and Annie. Grown men in the audience will weep. It is the most touching thing I have ever heard in my life. I may cry onstage. Do you still do a lot of Community Theatre? I freqnently get cast because I am the only 58 year old man that auditions. I have mixed feelings about that, but I also have feelings about the fact that I have auditioned for Annie 5 times in the past 2 months and only got cast in the West Chicago one. Those feelings aren't mixed at all. Enough about me, let's talk about you.

Come see me revive the role of the richest man in the world at the West Chicago Park District's production of Annie July 29 through 31 at the West Chicago Community High School. I will get your ticket comped.
