I can almost always tell. It can be pretty hard (especially singing) for them to make the vowels sound American without going too "wide" or twangy with it (if you know what I mean..?)

I made the finals up through where the kids that were in the movie were sent to LA to go to the "Annie Academy" and audition for their final roles. That was where I got cut. - I live in Jacksonville,FL and they kicked off the current tour in Orange Park, FL which is near me. I was a production assistant for them while they were in town for the four weeks of rehearsals/tech. I got to know everyone really well including Martin Charnin(director). They are an amazing group of people and am very proud to have gotten to know them.
